THE NAPKIN SUIT.

In Peru, people love KFC. And they love eating fried chicken with their hands. So much so that they truly live the brand’s “Finger Lickin’ Good” truth. But there was a problem. People loved eating with their hands. They just didn’t love what happened to their clothes afterwards. For the 80th anniversary of Colonel Sanders’ original secret recipe, we decided to turn this everyday tension into a media idea. What could be more “Finger Lickin’ Good” than eating fried chicken with your hands while dressed like the Colonel himself? So we brought back one of the most iconic suits in advertising history and reinvented it as something nobody expected: a suit made entirely from napkin paper. The Colonel’s iconic white suit became a wearable napkin, allowing people to enjoy their chicken with their bare hands without worrying about staining their clothes. And the media placement was simple: the customer became the media. The Napkin Suit was offered for free to customers who ordered a Fried Chicken Combo at selected KFC stores, turning every table, restaurant and street into a living demonstration of the brand truth.
